| At Intuit, we’re driven by a passion for inventing solutions to solve important financial problems, perfecting those solutions and delighting our customers. We know we can’t do it alone, so we’re looking to team up with the world’s best innovators to accelerate our efforts. |
 |
| That's why we created Intuit Collaboratory, a place to work together on new ideas. Find out what we’re looking for or tell us if you have a novel idea that we can develop together. There are many ways we could partner. |

What do we mean by Just Do It For Me (JDIFM)?
The ultimate way to save customers time and effort is to create systems that Just Do It For Me. These systems detect changing conditions (prices, usage numbers, bills due, low balances, inventory levels, etc.) and perform actions when the conditions are right (buy or sell something, transfer funds, send an invoice, run payroll, pay bills, etc.).
What’s an Ecosystem Summit?
Intuit periodically invites speakers from outside companies for a day of sharing experiences and best practices in areas where players benefit from each other’s participation, like mobile and social. The JDIFM Ecosystem Summit is the next one, scheduled for Sept. 27, 2010.
What do we want from you – and what’s in it for you?
We’re looking for good speakers from companies with customer-facing products that Just Do It For Me. Do you work at or have any contacts at such a company?
If you refer us to a speaker that we use, you’ll get:
- A $100 gift card
- Invitation for two to attend the JDIFM Ecosystem Summit in Mountain View, CA.

This could be the start of a beautiful partnership.
Here at Intuit, we know we don't have a monopoly on good ideas. Despite producing world-class software like Quicken, QuickBooks, and TurboTax, we know that there's innovative work being done outside our offices – and we'd like to be a part of it.
Intuit Collaboratory Challenges are one way we work with innovators outside of Intuit. Here's how it works:
From time to time, Intuit project teams will create a Collaboratory Challenge to find the best solutions for our customers’ problems. The Challenges are open to anyone with a great idea and the passion to pursue it – university students, small design and engineering firms, individual innovators – even our customers.
If you accept a Collaboratory Challenge, you'll be taken to our Collaboratory Brainstorm site to post your idea. In Brainstorm, you can describe your idea, build and manage your innovation team, and view other submissions for the same Collaboratory Challenge.
Submissions will be reviewed by the project team to see which are a good match with project priorities and Intuit's strategic initiatives. Collaboratory Challenge winners will be treated to a trip to our offices in Mountain View, CA, to work with the project team on their idea. Partnership with Intuit can take many forms, from working together on a single project to a more lasting relationship.
But you need to act fast, since each challenge runs for a limited time. See below for our current Collaboratory Challenges. We hope to have the chance to work with you!
